Congratulations to Lin Anderson - her screenplay River Child won the best fiction 2008 award at the BAFTA New Talent Awards, Scottish Students on Screen section. RIVER CHILD was filmed in Dumfries and Galloway and Gourock in September 2006. It is a Damian Wood film produced by Mattias Karlsson of Storymix. As well as being a screen writer, Lin is the author of a series of crime novels featuring forensic scientist Rhona MacLeod. The latest, EASY KILL, will be published by Hodder in July.
