Just as Doug Jackson’s rip-roaring Roman epic Claudius is published (with an event at Blackwells, Edinburgh on July 16th), Simon Thorogood at Transworld has signed up three further novels from Doug. The books will introduce Gaius Valerius Verrens, junior tribune of the Twentieth legion.
