To start off the year nicely, translation rights for Sara Sheridan’s THE SECRET MANDARIN have been sold to the Czech Republic (Levne Knihy KMa) and Norway (Cappelem Dam), while Craig Robertson’s serial killer thriller RANDOM has been sold to the German publisher Heyne. We hope to capitalise on these sales and the progress made last year when a range of deals were cut with publishers in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Israel, Greece and Turkey amongst others.
In addition to book translation rights the agency has optioned John Rector’s thriller, THE COLD KISS to producer Jane Startz (ELLA ENCHANTED, THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD), with Ole Bornedal (NIGHTWATCH, JUST ANOTHER LOVE STORY) slated to direct.
