Alastair Scott
Alastair Scott is a travel writer based on the Isle of Skye. His many books include Scot Free- A Journey from the Arctic to New Mexico (John Murray, 1986), Tracks Across Alaska (John Murray, 1990) and Top Ten Scotland (Dorling Kindersley, 1999). Native Stranger – A Journey in Familiar and Foreign Scotland (Little, Brown, 1995) was made into a three-part series for BBC Scotland in 1997.
In 2004 he published his first novel, Stuffed Lives, with The Vital Spark (Neil Wilson Publishing)
