Piano is Blue

A taut thriller set in the Modern Art world.

The launch of Glasgow’s new gallery, Number Nine George Square, is a disaster: a grotesque shock-art installation depicting a pair of mutilated corpses provokes media fury.

Fiona McAllister, Number Nine’s marketing officer, puts on a brave face, though she has problems of her own – not least of which is an e-stalker who wants to ‘paint the colour of her screams …’.

She needs more than a brave face when news arrives of a double murder that copies the controversial installation, to the last detail. Death, it seems, has imitated art.

As Fiona’s stalker looms from the shadows of cyberspace, she finds herself embroiled in a police search for a killer hell-bent on creating the grisliest exhibition Glasgow has ever seen.
