Saving Mother

Diana Hendry’s debut novel for adults, set mainly in the 1950s, is a fragmented and poignant portrait of a mother/daughter relationship, told from both points of view. It also examines the destructive friendship between teenage girls as they become obsessed by hunting out Nazi sympathisers – with tragic consequences.
