Maria Thomson

Maria ThomsonMaria Thomson was born in Edinburgh in 1960, and graduated in law. A year after qualifying, Maria was made a partner in an Edinburgh law firm, and met her husband-to-be.  They now have four children and live in Kingussie, in the Scottish Highlands. Maria stopped practising law some years ago after a bitter battle with the Law Society which saw both her and Gordon struck off, and since then has worked in many fields. A completely new start in the Scottish Highlands a few years ago has afforded Maria the chance to start writing.

With Linda Watson-Brown, Maria writes crime fiction under the pseudonym Grace Monroe.
