Shut Up And Drive
Harry Flatpack is standing in the rain by the exit ramp of the M6 motorway services, trying to get a lift back home. He’s hungry, tired, broke, very cold and soaked through. His face is a mess of cuts and bruises. He’s just seen his brother shot dead and he’s convinced someone is on his tail.
For Harry, things are going to get much, much worse. First, he’s kidnapped by a girl with attitude and a gun, and is then forced to confront a feuding Hungarian, father-and-son robbers, Russian gangsters and blind Lady Millstone. It’s a long night that turns into an even longer day.
A unique blend of existential literary and pulp fiction with a wicked sense of humour and an enormously powerful narrative voice.
